Our Mission
We strive to be the most affordable professional detail in Tyler, Texas. At 3D, you can trust that we will take care of you and your auto detailing needs. Obviously we are a business and we are here to make money, but we will only sell you what you want or need. We are not sales people. We are the place that you know that you can go to be treated fairly and be taken care of.
Who we are...
We are just two people trying to make a difference in our community. We are new to Tyler, but not to detailing. We have BIG dreams and ambition and passion to match. The city of Tyler has such an unique dynamic and is made up of such a diverse group of people. We have something to offer everyone. We love people and we love to serve people. We strive to be a company that you know that you can trust and depend on. We believe that once you come to us you won't want to go anywhere else.
Dietrick "DJ" Burr
Owner
Dietrick was born and raised in Waco, Texas. He attended La Vega ISD and graduated from La Vega High School. He went on to complete one year at Southwest Christian College where he was a part of the track team. Dietrick also attended Texas State Technical College where he studied Business Construction Technology.
A few years later, Dietrick moved to Oklahoma, where he started working at a car dealership where he got his start in auto detailing. He quickly advanced at the dealership and was in the position to get promoted to be the manager of the detailing department at another location. Unfortunately, before that position became available, he suffered an injury that required surgery and he returned to Waco to have the surgery done.
​After moving back to Waco, Dietrick had a couple warehouse jobs where he worked odd hours and did lots of manual labor. He enjoyed his work, but nothing compared to his job in Oklahoma. He finally decided that he would try to start his own auto detailing company, P2P, Polished to Perfection. P2P did not take off like he wanted it to, but hugely in part to trying to work a full time job and detail on the weekends. He finally decided to take a leap of faith and dive in.
In September of 2013, he decided that warehouse positions just weren't for him. He quit his job and decided to invest everything into getting his auto detailing company up and running. That was the best decision he has ever made. With a name change, a decent location, and the time to put into it, 3D has come to life.

During the COVID pandemic, we decided to close 3D in Waco. DJ went on to complete Barber School and is now a licensed barber too! If you are looking for a new barber he's your man. His attention to detail serves him well in both arenas. Check out his website at www.fatedandfaded.com. After moving to Tyler in October of 2023, DJ felt called to open 3D again. So...here we are!
